The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to provide the public with the following updates on testing and quarantine of individuals in Palau (as of Friday, January 29):
• Five (5) military personnel who arrived on January 16, 2021 received their day 14 tests, and all results were negative. They have been released from mandatory quarantine, and will continue to self-monitor before undergoing testing on day 21.
• Twelve (12) military personnel who arrived on January 22, 2021 received their day 7 tests, and all results were negative. They remain in mandatory quarantine before undergoing further testing on days 14 and 21.
• Eighteen (18) military personnel, including the new Civic Action Team, who arrived on January 23, 2021 received their day 7 tests, and all results were negative. They also remain in mandatory quarantine before undergoing further testing on days 14 and 21.
MOH continues to thank the community for its support to all COVID-19 response activities.
