Representatives of 20 Women Taro Seedling Grant Project had meeting at BOA in Ngchesar to discuss taro harvesting schedules, share solutions for pests and taro diseases, reporting and upcoming events. Each month, over a 1,000 pounds of taro are sold by some of these groups to BOA taro flour project. The amount of taro sold is expected to continue to increase each month due to the rest of the women’s groups farms coming online.
