With days of the last regular session of this 9th OEK ticking by, both houses are adjourned pending call of the Speaker or the President.

House of Delegates has been meeting more regularly holding 3 session days last week, despite the looming date of election.

Senate has been more sporadic in its sessions, with more activities happening in some of the committees, particularly the oversight meetings with appointees to Boards and Commissions.

With only 8 days remaining until the general election of November 1st, many if not all of the delegates and senators are on campaign trail.

Some Boards may not have a quorum to conduct business until a quorum of Senators can be assembled during this very hectic time to approve pending appointments. [/restrict]
