Business licenses for 2022 and Tobacco licenses renewal are to begin on December 1, 2021, and end on December 31, 2021, according to a notice issued by the Office of Bureau of Tax and Revenue “TAX Office”.
Director Rhinehart Silas reminds the public that anyone engaging in business must obtain an appropriate license and pay an annual Business License fee.
He also reminds that all non-profit organizations must also renew their licenses. Late filings will be charged late penalties and interests.
The announcement also reminds that taxpayers must clear any and all due tax filing and payments before renewal of licenses as well as clear at the Social Security Administration before being issued a business license.
To avoid delay, everyone is urged to come in early and renew their licenses.
