Palau Visitors Authority Board of Directors have appointed one of its newest member, Jackson Doktok as their new chairman.
Doktok was confirmed to the PVA Board with Jennifer Olgeriil in July, with 11 Senators confirming his appointment.
The two joining the PVA Board brought the number of directors up to four, with still three more slots to fill. The current members comprise a quorum and include Minister Ngirai Tmetuchl, Alan Marbou, Jennifer Olgeriil, and Jackson Doktok.
Minister Ngirai Tmetuchl of the Ministry of Human Resources, Culture, Tourism and Development served as PVA chairman for about six (6) years. He is an appointed member of the PVA. Also as a Minister of HRCT&D, he is automatically an ex-officio member of the Palau Visitors Authority. (By: L.N. Reklai)
