The National Emergency Management Office (NEMO)together with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Bangkok and UNDP Pacific One in Fiji will be holding a three-day Early Recovery Training at the Tommy E. Remengesau, Jr. building in the Palau International Coral Reef Center (PICRC) starting today, July 31.
The Early Recovery Training aims to enhance Palau’s emergency management and recovery and experts from Bangkok are in Palau to conduct the training.
Among the topics to be discussed during the training are the meaning and purpose of early recovery and links to development, pre-disaster planning for recovery, development of disaster recovery framework, among others. (Rhealyn C. Pojas)
