Wynona Tahira Ewatel, IT Specialist at Palau International Coral Reef Center, has been accepted to JICA’s KCCP Training Program. She is participating in the Capacity Building for ICT Project Formulation Training from June 19 to July 19, 2025 at the JICA Kansai Center in Kobe.
The program aims to develop the capacity for participants to plan effective ICT projects to solve social issues, in sectors such as health, disaster management, public services, etc. The main features of the program are (1) practical project planning method, “Tankyu-Practice” by hands-on experience; (2) learning ICT innovation cases at Japanese companies/public organizations and discussion with other participants; (3) learning up-to-date ICT technologies/digital transformation; and have the opportunity to create a global network of ICT specialist.
There are 14 participants representing targeted countries from Belize, Botswana, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Fiji, Kiribati, Mauritania, Palau, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Solomon Islands, South Sudan, Tanzania, and Tonga.
