Organizers launched the GIF22 app today to open networking channels
(Guam ) The Guam Industry Forum 2022, scheduled for November 14-16 at the Dusit Thani Guam Resort, is fast approaching, and the Guam Post of the Society of American Engineers (S.A.M.E.) announced today that registration remains open for the event. The Guam Industry Forum 2022 is being held to provide networking and business opportunities for contractors and service providers from throughout Asia, the U.S., Guam, and Micronesia to network, collaborate, and avail of opportunities to support the historic increase in America’s strategic presence in the Indo-Pacific region. Hundreds of government and industry representatives are expected to attend the forum.
S.A.M.E. Guam Post has recently announced key speakers from Guam, the U.S. Military, and Japan’s Ministry of Defense, who will open the forum’s agenda on Day 1 of the three-day event. On Days 1 and 2, organizers have gathered subject-matter experts and decision-makers who will give forum attendees insight into the anticipated projects for the next five years and beyond and opportunities to bid for $11 billion in new military and commercial construction projects, maintenance, and service contracts already planned by the U.S. Military.
Additionally, attendees will learn how commercial construction and public infrastructure projects created by the American Rescue Plan have created unprecedented opportunities for designers, engineers, constructors, suppliers, and service companies.
Charles B. Hazzard III, President of the Guam Post of the Society of American Military Engineers, organizers of the Guam Industry Forum said, “This year’s event places an even bigger focus on networking with decision-makers in the U.S. Military and the Government of Guam who will manage the design, construction, and service contracts. We’ve expanded GIF22 to include information about development and construction opportunities in the region – Guam, the CNMI, Palau, and the Federated States of Micronesia. Professionals from Asia, the U.S., Guam, and Micronesia will converge in Guam to learn how they can be part of this historic Indo-Pacific expansion.”
