KOROR, Palau — HK Lucky Restaurant opened its doors on Feb. 2, offering Koror a taste of Hong Kong. The eatery features classic Hong Kong cuisine, including fresh seafood, dim sum, and Chinese stir-fry.
The restaurant joins a growing wave of international eateries returning to Koror following the COVID-19 pandemic. It boasts a clean, modern aesthetic look with a relaxing ambiance. A unique feature is a room showcasing live seafood in clear tanks, offering diners a visual assurance of freshness.
Manager Ms. Lam, who fell in love with Palau during a tourist visit last year, returned four months later to open the restaurant. She emphasizes catering to diverse preferences and portion sizes.
“Sometimes, solo travelers can’t finish large portions offered at restaurants,” Lam said. “Here, customers can order based on their needs. For example, dim sum can be ordered in smaller, affordable portions for single diners.”
HK Lucky Restaurant operates for lunch and dinner seven days a week.
