MIKUNI Nariaki (Blue Economy Project Expert), Kloulechad, Andres, and KOBAYASHI Ryutaro (JICA Chief Representative)

Dean Kloulechad, Fisheries Technician, of The Nature Conservancy and Roselynne Andres, Market Sales Office Administrative, of Northern Reef Fisheries Cooperative, have been accepted and will be attending the Sustainable Use of Fisheries Resources through Diversification of Fisheries Based Livelihoods in Small-Island States training provided by JICA’s Knowledge Co-Creation Program.

In this training, the participants will be introduced to a wide range of measures/approaches to promote sustainable use of fisheries resources, which encompasses such aspects as improved fishing methods, fisheries management, quality control of fish, processing, marketing, alternative income generation, support for fishers’ organization and others.  The course duration is October 22 to November 30, 2022.
