Koror State Governor Eyos Rudimch delegated authority to each department head of the Koror State Government upon his absence from July 25th to August 6th, 2022.

Governor Rudimch is reportedly on vacation with his family, on the same trip as President Surangel Whipps Jr. for two weeks, and issued his DOA on July 22nd, informing Speaker Millan Isack of the 12th Koror State Legislature and Ibedul Alexander Merep and Board and Commissions of Koror State.

The DOA complies with Koror State law which became law through a legislative override in the last administration.

The law states that the Governor may delegate authority to a department head upon his absence for up to 10 days.  If the governor does not return after ten days, the speaker or vice speaker assumes the duties of the governor.
