The Ministry of Health and Human Services (MHHS) informsthe public of the following updates on testing, quarantine and isolation in Palau:
• One hundred and twenty-eight (128) in-bound travelers who arrived today, November 29, 2021, tested negative on day 1 of testing conducted at Palau International Airport. They have been released into restriction of movement (ROM) before undergoing final testing on day 5. MHHS kindly reminds all travelers on ROM to wear their masks and wrist bands at all times, follow other mandates on the ROM orders, and maintain physical distance from others, particularly vulnerable persons, unvaccinated children under 12 years of age, the elderly and other individuals with weakened immune systems. Community members are also asked to support these regulations (i.e., avoid close physical contact and/or wear masks indoors with individuals on ROM).
