Born in the UK, Mr. Proctor has deep experience working in both developing and developed markets, having lived in 11 countries, and worked in more than 65, across Asia, Africa, Middle East, Europe and the Americas. Prior roles include CEO for Bank of America in Thailand; Global Head of Client Relations, Global Head of Risk Strategy and CEO in Europe and Dubai for Standard Chartered Bank; CEO of a start-up bank in Qatar; Chairman of Bank One in Mauritius; and Chairman of an international financial consulting company in Singapore.
Mr. Proctor’s appointment reflects Palau’s ambition to further enhance its financial industry to meet the needs of residents and international investors alike, and NDBP’s aim to be a leader in that industry servicing the needs of its customers, community and stakeholders.
