On November 3-6, 2023, Taiwan hosted the 2023 Taipei International Travel Fair held at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center. In total, the event welcomed 344,475 attendees, marking a 76.3% growth from last year’s 195,366 attendees.

The Palau delegation consisted of Jennifer Olegeriil-Orrukem, Vice Chairwoman of the Palau Visitors Authority (PVA) Board, Sharrise Ngiraked, Manager of the Strategic Planning Department, PVA; Kato Katosang State Rep. II of the State & Community Programs Department, PVA, Mingrang Kloulechad, Protected Areas Network (PAN) Fund Board of Directors; Losii Samsel, Aimeliik State PAN Coordinator; Jennifer Ngiraiwet, Ngardmau State PAN Coordinator representatives; along with students from the Taiwan Palau Student Association(TPSA) who delivered a highly praised cultural performance.

It is worth noting that this year’s International Travel Fair(ITF) saw the participation of 11 different countries, including Taiwan, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Guam, Palau, Poland, Guatemala, the Sultanate of Oman, Saint Kitts, Nevis, and Belize. The event showcased a total of 52 stage performances throughout the four days.

The standout performance was showcased by the Palauan Students, which displayed our traditional dance and received tremendous support from the audience. They garnered the most votes and, as a result, were honored with the Best Performance Award.

We are delighted with the success of ITF 2023, and these attendance figures reflect the growing interest and participation in this international event.

  • Day 1: 57,453 attendees, an 87.9% increase from last year’s 30,572.
