A new intern joined the Palau Conservation Society (PCS) last June 4.
Silmai Uchellaz Fritz, a Conservation and Protected Areas intern at PCS this summer under the Palau Fellowship Award (PFA) had recently graduated from the University of Hawaii-Hilo with honors in December 2017.
Fritz obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies along with two minors in Geography and Anthropology.
The PFA is sponsored by the Palau National Scholarship Board internship and provides internship opportunities to college juniors and graduating seniors. (PR)
