Palau National Scholarship Board (PNSB) awarded the Masami Siksei Memorial Scholarship (MSMS) to Ms. Bhilanna Temol for this school year 2023-2024. The late Mr. Masami Siksei was a strong advocate for education and his family has established this scholarship as a tribute to him.
A recipient of this scholarship must major in a preferred field of study as identified by the donor, must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 and be actively involved in the community and other extra-curricular activities. Ms. Temol is a junior at Andrews University in Michigan, USA pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Psychology. The scholarship Board selected Ms. Temol based on her excellent essay, and her outstanding academic record.
Since Bhilanna is presently in Michigan, her proud Grandmother Kelly Olkeriil accepted the $5,000.00 scholarship award on her behalf as Mrs. Sophia Seid representing the late Mr. Masami Siksei presented the award. PNSB Member Caroline S. Skebong and PNSB Staff Morisang Udui witnessed the proud moment.
