POLICE BLOTTER -Wednesday, January 24, 2018

At I:15 p.m. on January 24, victim walked into Central reporting suspect Tamara Hutzler, F/Adult assaulted him at Drop Off Bar & Grill at Malakal on January 23, 20 18 between 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. The case is under investigation for Disorderly Conduct and Assault in the 3rd Degree.

At 3:20 p.m. on January 24, an Immigration Officer called Central reporting suspect Badal Miah, M/36 for operating a tour bus without a registered driver license. Responding Officers issued an active citation for operating a vehicle without a registered driver’s license to operate a vehicle more than 1.5 tons.

At 5: 16 p.m . on January 24, Central received a call repo1ting two-vehicle accident in Ngerbechedesau, Koror and no injuries was reported. Responding Officers learned that the suspect, Si ls Tmetuchel M/l 9 was operating his cell phone and was not paying attention to the road and collided to the rear of the victim’s vehicle. Suspect was issued an active citation for Reckless and Negligent Driving.

POLICE BLOTTER -Thursday, January 25, 2018

At 6:45 a.m. on January 25, Central received a call reporting an individual arguing and making loud noises bothering neighbors at Ngerchemai, Koror. Responding Officers arrested, booked and confined suspect, Thomas Tamandad, MlAdult for Disorderly Conduct.

At  I 0:59 a.m. on January 25, victim walked  into Central reporting suspect Janghir Miah, M/Adult had not paid back the victim nor helped hi m process passport and other working document owed to him. Case is under investigation for Human Trafficking violations.

At 5:19 p.m. on January 25, Central received a call reporting an individual bothering and wanting to fight him at the area off lsland Paradise Hotel in Medalaii. Responding Officers learned that the suspect Ruben Hosei, MlAdult had assaulted the victim. Suspect was arrested, booked and confined for Disorderly Conduct and Assault in the 3rd Degree.

POLICE BLOTTER -Friday, January 26, 2018

At 2:55 a.m. on January 26, Central received a call reporting a fight in Ngerbodel,  Koror. Responding Officers learned that suspect Julius Skebong, M/Adult struck the victim’s head with an unknown object and fled the area. The case is under investigation for Assault in the 211d Degree.

At 1 1 :45 a.m. on Jn uary 26, Central received a call reporting a vehicle accident in front of Ta i-Yo Restaurant beside Bank of Hawaii. Responding Officers learned that suspect Huimin Zhuang, F/43 was reversing her car out of the parking lot when she collided onto the victim’s vehicle. The case is under investigation for Negligent and Reckless Driving.

At 2:55 p.m. on January 26, Central received a call reporting a fight at Pala u Community College. Responding Officers learned that suspect  Julius Echang aka “Sulias” struck the victim with a machete. The victim was immediately transported to the Hospital for treatment. The case is under investigation for Assault in the  I 51 Degree.

At 4:35 p.m. on January 26, Centra l received a call reporting a traffic accident in front of Rainbow Mart in Medalaii , Koror. Responding Officers learned that suspect Tmekei Ellis, M/66 failed to the clear the middle lane before entering and collided onto the victim’s vehicle. A traffic citation was issued to the suspect for Reckless and Negligent Driving, Operating a vehicle without Driver’s License, and Failure to Yield Right of Way to vehicle.

At 7:48 p.m. on January 26, a victim walked into Central reporting suspect Sorch Meyar, FfAdult kicked her on the stomach at the Road to Meyuns, Skozio. Responding Officers took the victim’s statement and the case is under investigation for Assault in the 3rd Degree and Disorderly Conduct.

At 11:15 p.m. on January 26, a Police Officer called Central repo1iing a vehicle passing and overtaking vehicles at Medalaii Highway in front of Old Age Center. Upon stopping the vehicle, Officers learned that suspects (Driver) Harur, M/Adult; (Passenger) Sunj Miah, M/Adult; and (Passenger) Murbul Ahammad , M/Adult were in the vehicle. Driver was cited for Unlicensed and Unregistered vehicle, Passing and Overtaking, while the passengers were booked and confined for not possessing any type of valid ID’s or working Permits.

At 2: I 0 a.m. on January 27, Patrolling Officers called Central and reported a vehicle recklessly passing and overtaking vehicles in front of MJ Burger Hut. Officers pulled over the vehicle and learned that suspect Jerkins Drake Basiou, M/38 was possibly intoxicated. Suspect was then tested for a Field Sobriety Test where he failed, he was arrested, booked and confined for Driving Under the Influence and Reckless & Negligent Driving.

At 5:52 p.m. on January 27, Central received a call reporting an unknown individual had thrown a rock shattering the right rear windshield of their company car at Ngetkib, Airai. Responding Officer obtained the driver’s statement and the case is under investigation for Property Damage.

At 7:40 p.m. on January 27, a suspect on a previous case reported another suspect Mushin, M/Adult had recruited him to work at a specific company, but until recently had not worked at that company. The case is under investigation for Labor and Hu man Trafficking violations.

At I 0:05 p.m. on January 27, Central received a call reporting a drunken individual had collided his vehicle onto a parked vehicle at Hanpa Building Parking Lot. Responding Officers learned that the suspect Allen Ruluked , M/Adult was maneuvering his car inside Hanpa Parking lot and when he collided onto a parked vehicle. The suspect was booked and confined for Driving under the Influence and Reckless and Negligent Driving.

At 10: 18 p.m. on January 27, while releasing a custody suspect from a previous case, the individual reported other individuals who had recruited him to Palau and took h is money and had not lived up to the expectations agreed. The case is under investigation for Labor and Human Trafficking violations.

POLICE BLOTTER -Sunday, January 28, 2018

At 11:00 a.m. on January 28, an Employee of the Ministry of Education (MOE) called Central reporting that someone had broke into MOE Building. Responding Officers learned that an unknown suspect broke into the bathroom window of the building and carried away two trash bags full of empty cans. The case is under investigation for Burglary and Theft.

At I 2:00 Noon on January 28, a victim walked into Central reporting suspect Sorch Meyar, FlAdult had assaulted her at their family residence in Meyuns, Koror. According to the victim, while parked at the location, the suspect walked up to the car and punched and slapped her face several times while her five year old son and nephews whom were all minors witnessed while inside the vehicle. The case is under investigation for Assault in the 3rd Degree.

At 6:50 p.m . on January 28, Central received a call reporting heavy smoke coming out of a Yacht docked at Fish n Fins i n M-Dock. Responding Officer learned that no injuries were reported and that most of the interior walls and mattresses were damaged. The fire was neutralized by the responding firefighters.

 At 8:15 a.m. on January 29, an Off-Duty Officer walked into Central reporting an unknown suspect had assaulted him in front of MJ Burger at Dngeronger on January 27, 2018 at about 4:00 a.m. The case is under investigation for Assault in the 2″d Degree.

At 5: 10 p.m. on January 29, Central received a call reporting that someone had assaulted him at Malakal. Responding Officers learned that suspect Ray Oling, M/Adult assaulted the victim at their barracks at the said location. The case is under investigation for Assault i n the 3rd Degree. [/restrict]
