Koror, Palau – August 28, 2025 — On Thursday, August 28, 2025, Mr. Kevin Kirk, Attorney at Law, joined the management team at Palau Pacific Resort (PPR) for a special session on the importance of compliance, with a focus on Power Harassment (or abuse of authority). The presentation brought together Supervisors, Assistant managers, Managers, Directors, and the General Manager for an open and meaningful discussion.
At PPR, we believe that every team member deserves a safe, respectful, and fair workplace. This commitment is also shared by our parent company, Tokyu Land Corporation, which works to build a strong foundation for growth through fairness, transparency, and good governance.
Ahead of Mr. Kirk’s visit, our resort team took part in a Global Compliance Training Program to strengthen our knowledge and remind us of the values that guide us every day. Topics included:
- Avoiding bribery, corruption, and conflicts of interest
- Stopping harassment, discrimination, and abuse of power
- Preventing financial misconduct such as fraud or kickbacks
- Keeping clear boundaries with criminal organizations
- Speaking up through our whistleblowing system and international hotline
- Managing long working hours responsibly
- Protecting company assets and resources
- Safeguarding personal and confidential information
- Preventing sexual harassment
- Following all laws and industry regulations
This training is part of our ongoing journey to make Palau Pacific Resort not only the best place for guests to visit, but also one of the best places to work in the region.
