Picture yourself in a garden where not only plants grow but also where good beer brews – that is the Palau Pacific Resort’s (PPR) newest bar, the Sunset Beer Garden.

The concept behind the Sunset Beer Garden, according to PPR Sales and Marketing Manager Yumie Morishita, was inspired from the popular beer festival in Europe, the Octoberfest. The hotel now gives beer lovers a good place to chug a mug of beer or two over the breathtaking view of sunset from the beachside where the bar is nestled.

Now, think of all the good chow that come with beer – skewers, fried seafood, grilled sausage, tuna poke, fish finger, onion ring, Edamame, and French fries and imagine them to come only for a cheap price. Then imagine no more as these food selections are indeed offered at the bar for prices ranging only from as low as $4 to $15. Having said that, there is no doubt that the bar is the new go-to place of individuals seeking a place for their so-called “happy hour” without putting a stress on their wallets.

Sunset Beer Garden offers a variety of internationally and locally brewed draft beer. Of course, Palau’s pride that is Red Rooster, a locally brewed beer, headlines the beer menu along with international beer brands that are offered in the bar. Non-beer drinkers could also enjoy other beverages as the bar also serve wine and other drinks.

The Sunset Beer Garden, having only its official grand opening on January 21, gives customers a treat by offering 20% discount until January 27. It is open every day from 5pm to 8pm to serve guests.

So if you’re up for good music and a cozy place to spend your happy hour, then you might want to hit the Sunset Beer Garden every 5pm at the PPR. (Rhealyn C. Pojas)
