On September 9-20, 2024, seventeen (17) PPUC employees attended the 5th phase of the Pacific Linemen Training (PLT). This valuable program aims to build capacity, further development and commitment through the safe and efficient transmission of electricity. It is being administered by a grant through the U.S. Department of the Interior’s Office of Insular Affairs. It consisted of both classroom-based learning and practical, hands-on training sessions. The 6th phase of the program is tentatively scheduled for November 2024 where two of our staffs will receive their lineman certification. A refresher course will be conducted early next year.

Congratulations to the following employees (training participants):

Tewid Tewid, Delmel Remeliik, Reynaldo Sismant, Kerngel Malsol, Cody Elwais, Stanley Blelas, Wilan Kyota, Keyslee Kewii, Hansen Uchel, Nathan Siliang, Hubert Rafael, Sherwin Wasai, Sasha Lirow, Manny Adelbai, Josiah Immanuel, Sammy Hesus and Indhira Ngirkelau

PPUC has long been dedicated to the professional growth of its employees and this linemen training is just one of many ongoing initiatives aimed at enhancing employee skills.
