On August 23, 2021 the Palau Conservation Society (PCS) received a generous donation of $1,800 in support of ongoing environmental and conservation efforts from the Palau Royal Resort (PRR). Palau Royal Resort operates under the Nikko Hotels International, a brand owned by Okura Nikko Hotel Management. Since its opening in the summer of 2005, PRR has grown to become a recognizable image of the union of Japanese and Palauan business. Over the past few years, the resort donates a yearly contribution of about $3,600.
Corporate partners like the Palau Royal Resort recognize the importance of environmental conservation and how it is intertwined with all members of the Palauan community.
