Broadcasting communication has finally re-established in Angaur and Peleliu thanks to the Bureau of Domestic Affairs with the Media and Information Division on the completion of a joint effort with the Palau National Communications Corporation (PNNC) by installing FM Radio receivers and repeaters in Koror, Peleliu and Angaur to enable Eco- Paradise (T8AA) FM public radio broadcast to the two Island States.

A super typhoon (Bopha) ravaged through Palau in 2012 resulted in bringing down the national AM antenna on the Malkal hilltop caused damages of over half a million.
Bureau of Domestic Affairs Director, Eunice Akiwo said the newly broadcasting equipments will bring radio to both Angaur and Peleliu while the team will continue to work on bringing an AM antenna back to Palau that will bring nation-wide broadcast to the people.
