A fool vents all her feelings, But a wise Woman holds them back. Proverbs 29:11

This wisdom is a straight kick to the stomach for me as I recall the times I spoke all that I felt without any type of filter. I can make excuses and say I was young and foolish which is true. I’m sure many of you reading this can relate. Think about all the pain and heartache, or even anger, you may have caused another person because you felt it was about time they get what’s coming to them. At first you think it was a good idea because you couldn’t hold it in anymore only to realize you did a great deal of damage that you might never be able to repair outside of the hand of God, of course.

These days of social media, war of words and showboating are visibly exaggerated.  And oversharing can open you up for attacks, skepticism and misunderstanding at the wrong time.  Instead of looking for public validation, take it to God in prayer.  Also share with those who will pray with you and for you.

It seems like the world is suffering with histrionic mental disorder.

Whatever dreams and visions given us is best treated like a new baby. Keep the baby safe and warm.  Keep safe from harm and danger. Nurture the baby with love and grace during their early and fragile time. And watch it grow.

I learned from R.T. Kendall the lessons from the life of Joseph, son of Jacob, son of Isaac, son of Abraham. Joseph’s journey to be governor of Egypt took so many turns because he shared too much of his dreams with his brothers and flaunted his coat of many colors. It took seventeen years as slave and prisoner before realizing his dream.

Sometime it’s better to be silent about our dreams and visions God gives us.and a good woman learns that she’s hard to find, and worth far more than diamond. It’s not what you own that gives you your worth.  You are a human being created in the image of God.

A wise woman builds her home  but a foolish woman tears it down with her own hands.

Jesus said, “they will know you by your love to one another.”  He didn’t say how much you have in your bank account or the  grandeur of your house, and what kind of a car you drive.  Just love!
