KOROR, Palau – Unofficial results from the Sonsorol State general election show Lucy Pedro leading the gubernatorial race with 93 votes, followed by Nicholas Aquino with 87 votes.

In the Lieutenant Governor race, a write-in candidate emerged victorious with 79 votes, defeating the sole registered candidate, Isaac Theodore, who received 70 votes.

Christian Aquino secured the lead with 106 votes for the At-Large seats, followed by Chelsea Pedro (101) and Quintina Nestor Pedro (90).

In the Sonsorol hamlet race, Leo Pedro claimed the top spot with 57 votes, followed by John B. Nestor (49 votes) and Dean Terry (43 votes).

For the Pulo-Anna legislator seat, Alexander Sumor led with 26 votes, followed by Sabrina Lawrence (22 votes) and Vanessa Mobel (21 votes).

In the Merir election, Jenny Jonas took the lead with 17 votes, followed by Max Petrus with 13 votes.

For the Fanna hamlet seat, Athena Mengloi, the only candidate, received 23 votes out of the 25 ballots cast.

Voters also weighed in on a constitutional amendment question. Unofficial results show that 110 residents voted to amend the Sonsorol Constitution, while 68 voted against it.
