Vancouver, WA — Three Palauan individuals have gone missing in separate incidents in Washington State, leaving their families heartbroken and desperate for answers. Deisha Kimiko Simeon and her partner, Joseph Dylan Chiokai, were last heard from in mid-September, and just weeks later, 18-year-old Tosang “Ito” Ito disappeared in early October. As the days stretch on, their families are turning to the public for help in bringing them home safely.


Details of the Missing Individuals
Deisha Kimiko Simeon, 32, is a mother of two who had been living in Vancouver, WA, working in the airline industry. She is 5 feet tall, weighs 150 lbs, and has long black hair and dark brown eyes. Deisha is known for several tattoos, including a black and blue plumeria flower on her right inner wrist, a black outline of Guam on her left forearm, and a black outline of a latte stone on one of her ankles.
She was last heard from on September 20, 2024, through Facebook Messenger. Her last known location was Vancouver, WA. Deisha moved to Washington with her partner and their young son several years ago, hoping to build a life for their family. She and her partner, Joseph Dylan Chiokai, have since gone missing together.
Joseph Dylan Chiokai, 34, also known as “Dylan,” is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 200 lbs. He has shoulder-length black hair and dark brown eyes. He was last seen around the same time as Deisha, with the last known communication being on September 14, 2024, through Facebook Messenger. Like Deisha, his last known location was also Vancouver, WA.
Tosang “Ito” Ito, 18, went missing just a few weeks later on October 8, 2024. He was last seen in Sammamish, WA, wearing a red hoodie and a black beanie. Tosang is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs around 120 lbs. His family is urgently seeking information about his whereabouts and pleading with the community to keep an eye out for him.
The Emotional Toll on Families
The disappearances have left families devastated and searching for answers. Olivia Simeon, Deisha’s sister, expressed how much the outpouring of support from the community has meant to them.
“The number of people responding and willing to help has encouraged us tremendously,” said Olivia. “We cannot thank everyone enough for their support.
Deisha and her partner, Joseph, had been planning for their future with their two sons, who have been living with family members in Guam since July 2024. Tosang’s family similarly has been tirelessly searching for him, devastated by his sudden disappearance.
Community and Law Enforcement Efforts
The families, along with local law enforcement, have been working tirelessly to locate their loved ones. Flyers with detailed information have been distributed both online and within the community. Law enforcement agencies, including the Washington State Patrol Missing Persons Unit and the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs), are also involved in the search.
The public is urged to be vigilant and report any sightings or information, no matter how small, that could lead to the safe return of these individuals.
