The U.S. Navy will be flying two EA-18G Growler jets, a P-8 Poseidon maritime patrol and reconnaissance aircraft, and a C-130 cargo aircraft over Palau between November 22 and November 28, 2023.  Approximately 35 aircrew and aircraft maintainers will participate in the exercise.  The aircraft will be located at Palau International Airport but will conduct exercises over the ocean.

The public is advised that the aircrafts’ engines may generate loud noises in flight.

Conducting training in different locations across the Pacific enables the U.S. military to enhance its interoperability with partners while boosting the economy in the region.

The next large-scale exercise planned for Palau is Pacific Partnership 24, which will bring the medical ship USNS Mercy and hundreds of troops back to Palau from 21 December 2023 through 6 January 2024.
