The United States Department of Defense (DOD) will be briefing President Surangel Whipps Jr. and Vice President J. Uduch Sengebau Senior of the US  military’s projects on Peleliu this weekend.
National Security Office Coordinator, Jennifer Anson confirmed the visit of the  Chief of the Army Reserves Lt. General  Jody Daniels and Task Force Oceania’s Brigadier  General Timothy Connelly in Palau this weekend.

During their visit, the two military officers will be traveling to Peleliu to visit historical memorial sites and update the two Palauan leaders of  the military’s Airfield Revitalization Project in Peleliu.

According to the US Army Reserve website, LTG Daniels is the first woman to serve as the Chief of the Army Reserves and 9th Commanding General United States Army Reserve since 2020.

Information about the ongoing project and the Task Force Oceania’s 2021 visit to Palau has been scant.
