Creative Music and Dance Summer program is coming soon, starting this June 19 to July 6, 2023 at the Civic Center. The program will begin with a performance to give everyone interested an insight into the program.
Ms. Benina Berger from the Belau National Museum will be offering Creative Music & Dance Summer Program for elementary school students who are interested in expressing themselves through music, dance and art during the summer break.
During the 3 weeks, Ms. Benina and kids will discover this year’s theme “Around the world” and bring it to life.
The Creative Music & Dance Program started in beginning of 2019 and has been successfully providing training and education to over 200 students in Palau over the years. In cooperation with the NCD Prevention Unit, Ministry of Education and Ministry HRCTD this program aims to promote physical movement, artistic expression and mental well-being.
Spots for the program are limited to only 24 students between the ages of 6 and 13yrs old.
Kids that are interested can sign up at the Belau National Museum. There’s a fee of $50 to be paid upon signing up.
