The Palau Tourism and Hospitality School of Excellence club of Palau Community College (PCC) went to the Belau National Hospital to present three large turkeys and a case of stuffing as a donation before the start of the Thanksgiving Season at 11am on Wednesday, November 20.
The students were able to accomplish the task with most of the money that they earned from their car wash fundraiser last week Saturday, November 16.
In a Facebook post, the Ministry of Health (MOH) stated, “We greatly appreciate your generosity. Thank you all for supporting the Belau National Hospital!”
The PTHSE club expressed that they wanted to do something that will give back to the community and by talking to their advisors, Didiich Albert and Jenelle Blesam, they were able to arrange this generous exchange.
This does not mark the end of their good deeds, as they continue to grow as a club, they still plan on doing more activities that will benefit the community. One of the activities that are coming up for the club is a beach cleanup at Ngaraard alongside Palau Conservation Society and Ngaraard PAN on November (By Telbakes Yano)
