Palau Community College (PCC) recently faced the unfortunate loss of fellow employees long-time staff mem- bers, Mr. Rogelio “Roger” Vergara from San Antonio Bachelor, Pampanga, Philippines. Mr. Vergara dedicated his career and services to Palau Community College, then Micronesian Occupational College in 1982 as Operation
& Maintenance Supervisor I. His exceptional skill in construction building and shared knowledge was evident throughout the College and the community. With his outstanding performance, the College retained his services until his retirement in April 2020. Shortly after his retirement, the late Rogelio “Roger” Vergara returned home with his family to Papanga where they remained until his peaceful passing on March 15, 2022.
Mr. Vergara’s funeral service is scheduled for March 19, 2022 at Sanctuario De San Fernando Memorial Gardens at City of San Francisco, Pampanga, Philippines.
Palau Community College Board of Trustees, President, Faculty, Staff, and most especially the students extend deep condolences to the family, friends, and relatives of Mr. Rogelio “Roger” Vergara in this very difficult time. Know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.
As part of our experession of sympathy, the College Human Resource along with late Vergara’s relative Ms. Mari- sol Imperial are accepting contributions to the family of late Rogelio “Roger” Vergara to better cope with their loss.
