On July 21, 2020, Palau Conservation Society (PCS) received a generous donation from Palau Royal Resort (PRR). Annually, PRR donates $3,600 to PCS which is distributed throughout the year. The latest contribution was presented by general manager Fumihiko Kitakuni to PCS Executive Director Bola Majekobaje.
Corporate Partners for Conservation such as PRR play an important part in environmental protection in Palau. Through their generosity, PCS has been able to reach thousands of Palauan students over the years to instil a sense of stewardship and a love for nature. This year, donations will go toward the development of a new children’s book focused on climate change as well as other important programs.
