On October 19, 2023, Palau High School witnessed an exceptional day as one of its bright students, Ngirbabul Elijah N. Jamilah, embarked on a remarkable job shadowing experience at Ngerel Belau. This one-day program allowed him to gain invaluable insights into the fundamentals of video production and radio programming within the media division of the Bureau of Archives, under the Ministry of State.
Ngirbabul’s immersive job shadowing experience encompassed various facets of the media world, enabling him to grasp the intricacies of the industry. Throughout the day, he actively participated in the production of regular EPFM talk shows, demonstrating his dedication to understanding the broadcast process. Additionally, he received comprehensive training on how to program daily radio announcements, honing his skills in content management and presentation.
The pinnacle of Ngirbabul’s experience was the extraordinary opportunity to go on air live and conduct interviews with the talented employees of Ngerel Belau Radio. This firsthand interaction with professionals in the field allowed him to witness the inner workings of the radio station, further igniting his passion for media and broadcasting.
